Story

The Jos Naylor Challenge was inaugurated by Joss Naylor in 1990 as a fund-raising challenge to the over 50’s.  In addition to completing the route, successful contenders must raise at least £100 for a charity of their choice.  Joss’s challenge involves climbing 30 Lake District tops, crossing some 48 miles of mountain terrain and ascending nearly 17000 feet.  The route starts in Pooley Bridge, Ullswater and finishes at Greendale Bridge, Wasdale.

I am taking up the challenge starting at 7am on September 4th 2010, I have to complete the route in under 12 hours.
I have chosen to raise money on behalf of the patterdale Mountain Rescue.   Thank you very much for your support and any donations.
