My story

 

On 6th August 2009, the world lost the best "ParaTropper" "Son" "Uncle" "Nephew" "Cousin" and "Friend" Dale in the words of many was simply Amazing........

He was finally laid to rest on 26th August 2009, when his local town Redditch came to a stand still silence...everyone united together with one common thought. The mark of such a man brought over a 1000 people to the town centre, Police, Ambulance and Fire Brigade lined the streets with the sole intention of paying the respects, even parking wardens stopped issuing tickets and simply stopped in respect.

As you may know Dale was a Hero to many in particular those he laid his life down to save, all his friends have had many friendly banter with dale over the Army / Civvy life it was all in fun a jest but the man simply had green blood in honour of the army. We all had many a joke and he said to us one time "tell you what lads you make the jump and be a flying god and i will salute you, well my friend we have decided to make the jump and in turn i will salute you".........but before we do we have to say we are crapping it, but as you once said mate the chicks dig a para....so we are jumping ;-)

Therfore a large group of civvy friends and family have joined with your flying god colleagues to make the jump together as a family, we are jumping on 6 month anniversary (6th February 2010) in Swansea and all money raised is going to the Afgan Para Trust.

Everyone will contribute and sponsor in your name into this one group, each person jumping has to raise £200.00 this will go to the cost of the jump and it being filmed all monies over that will be donated to the trust. There is 24 of us jumping so far so target is £4800.00 for jump, we want the same again to go to the trust so target is £9600.00 if we get 15k a few of us are doing it naked

Anyone who donates money for a specific jumper please palce there name in the message box when making a donation so i am aware who has raised sponsorship and who has not.
