Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I thought it about time I decided on a Charity who I would make my main fund raising efforts for in 2012. Most of you may be aware that I'm always involved in some capacity with RN Boxing or at HMS RALEIGH attempting to raise Charity resource for Servicemen who are in need. Having lived in Cornwall for 7 years and being married to a Paramedic (who works at Newquay), I decided that this year I would take up the opportunity to raise some much needed money for a local Charity; FLEET, Frontline Emergency Equipment Trust Ltd, by attempting to complete the 2012 Virgin London Marathon.

FLEET provides critical equipment for all services that provide emergency medical support to the Public in Cornwall; the equipment it can provide is in constant use on:

All Cornwall County Emergency Ambulances

Emergency Response motorbikes & cars

Royal Navy Search & Rescue helicopters operated out of RNAS Culdrose, Helston

Cornwall County Fire engines

Cornwall HM Coastguard teams

Cornwall RNLI Lifeboats

Cornwall Air Ambulance

FLEETs aim is to upgrade and standardise emergency life support equipment in all of Cornwalls ambulances; by carrying the best possible means to stablise and save lives.

Now I know many of you are nowhere near living or located near Cornwall, so may think what the? However, you may regularly holiday in this wonderful county, or you may have had to rely on support from one of these emergency services; so please, please, if you can give a little, give a lot; for this well deserving Charity. You never know when you may be in Cornwall, and need medical assistance. Thankyou.
