Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Graham Whiteley, Richard Cherry and I are combining as a BBS team to enter this years Barclays Wheels for Change bike ride in aid of The Prince's Trust.

The event is a 100km bike ride, starting and finishing at the Olympic velodrome and taking in the rolling hills of Essex (descents rather less scary than this year's Olympics, we hope)

Looking elegantly dignified in lycra, and in my case riding the latest carbon-fibre, super-lightweight, aerodynamically-engineered Zimmerframe, we'll be tackling part of the course used on Stage 3 of the 2014 Tour de France.

We are supporting The Prince's Trust, a charity that specifically focuses on 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed, struggling at school or at risk of exclusion, helping them to build stronger futures for themselves and their families.

We would really appreciate your support in helping us to raise money for this fantastic charity
