Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you know our little girl, Keira, was diagnosed with TGA (a major heart condition) at our 22 week scan. Keira was born at Guys & St Thomas' and cared for in the Evelina Childrens hospital where she had open heart surgery at 5 days old. She is now 10 months old and full of beans, and its as if she never had anything wrong. Touch wood she will live a normal life here on in. Some parents are like us and some are not as lucky. ECHO (evelina childrens heart organisation) is a charity that helps support the children born at the Evelina hospital and their families. They have been a great help supporting us through the difficult times and providing us with the means to share our experience in the hope it will help others.

So, this year, to do my bit in raising some money for ECHO Evelina, I will be joining some other mums and dads of heart children to abseil down the tower at Guys hospital in London on May 15th 2010.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The ECHO charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me and anyone who wants to come and watch feel free

Thanks, Damo
