Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sadly last year my Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, to show my support for him and the work MDNA are doing. I am going to do my first bit of serious exercise for a few years and running my first half marathon (probably in a very shambolic way).

By supporting me in my fundraising effort you will be helping to improve the lives of those people who are affected by this awful illness whilst also helping fund research into finding a cure to rid the world of MND.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Wish me luck,

Damien

More information on Motor Neurone Disease:

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a rapidly progressive, fatal illness.  It leaves people unable to walk, talk or feed themselves.  With no cure, half die within 14 months of diagnosis.

The MND Association wants to see a world free of MND.  We fund and promote research into causes, treatments and a cure.  Until then, we remain dedicated to ensuring all people affected by MND secure the best possible care and support.
