London to Brighton Bike Ride · 17 September 2017
I am doing the London to Brighton cycle ride on 17 September 2017 in aid of Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust because of the support they provide to children – in particular, Amelie and Charlie Luckman, who are part of my extended family.
Amelie and Charlie's Dad, Joe, has given more details on the charity and the work they do. His story is as follows:
“Myself and my fellow fundraisers are taking part in this year's London to Brighton Cycle Ride on 17th September in order to raise money for the Strongbones Children's Charitable Trust. As many of you will know my children, Amelie and Charlie, both suffer from Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) - more commonly known as Brittle Bone Disease.
Strongbones do fantastic work to help children like Amelie and Charlie and others suffering from a broad spectrum of bone related diseases. We have seen first hand how beneficial their thoughtfulness at difficult times can be and Amelie and Charlie have attended a number of incredibly well run and well thought out events that really do give so much happiness to children suffering from severe and rare bone conditions.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
