<p>Hello,</p> <p>As some of you may or may not know, my Dad, Paul Burnett passed away on the 1st of November 2009 aged 56. He suffered from severe Parkinsons disease for the best part of 20 years. When he passed away all of his family were surrounding him. It was a sad but beautiful moment that none of us will ever forget. It still shocks me to think he is gone and that we will never see him again.</p> <p>This was a man who never got down, who never complained or became depressed. In fact, he woke up every morning and made the best out of his life, always wanting to learn something new and to push himself to the limits. He was always full of life and loved to be around people.&nbsp;He was an inspiration to us all, he showed us how to keep going when it seemed impossible. We can all learn a lot from this sort of spirit.</p> <p>I have chosen the Woking Hospice because they made the last few weeks of my Dad's life bearable not only for&nbsp;him but for&nbsp;all of us who were involved. The love, care and affection of the team was amazing. The hospice is a truly&nbsp;wonderful place filled with&nbsp;people who make a real difference to peoples lives.</p> <p>For those of you who know me, you will agree with me when I say I am not a classically built marathon runner. So with this in mind I decided to run this 26.2 mile epic.</p> <p>My Dad always said to me 'If you want to launch big ships, go where the water is deep'. So I am going to go where the water is deep.</p> <p>Please sponsor me and support this great cause.
