Me and my brother Hayden are both taking part in the Great North Swim – This is a 1 mile swim in the cold waters of Salford Queys on 1st July.

Neither Me or Hayden have never done anything like this before and to be honest I am not the best of swimmers, but we have been training and practicing.

We have decided to do this to raise money for a charity that helped me and my family out a few years ago, as some of you may or may not already know I had a bone tumour in my left leg. I was 8years old at the time and forever grateful to a charity called CHICS. Basically they help really ill kids and their family’s out by sending them on days out and weekend breaks along with loads of other things!
