<p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"></span></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">In the hope of raising lots of money for some deserving children’s charities, I will be attempting the national Three Peaks Challenge with fellow climbers Ryan Maskery, Matt Lovett and Phil Levett (and when we refer to ourselves as climbers, we mean this in the loosest sense possible!!)</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"></span></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon - in less than 24 hours. In total this includes a climb and ascent distance of around 26 miles, with 450 miles of driving in between!</span></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">This may sound crazy, but we’ve selected four deserving charities that will make it all worthwhile. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We’ve each chosen a charity with special meaning to us.</span></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">My chosen charity is Fight for Life (The BIG fight for the little people)</span></strong></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Fight for Life was formed in 1996 to raise funds to build a dedicated children's radiotherapy unit at the Middlesex Hospital, London. The Unit has now moved to a brand new dedicated cancer unit installed at the new UCH hospital on the corner of Tottenham Court Road and Euston Road.</span></em></p> <p class="ecxmsonormal" style="margin: auto 0cm;"><em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">The new unit was opened by Fight for Life's patron, Gary Lineker in January 2000. The unit is equipped with a state of the art Linear Accelerator radiotherapy machine, enabling treatment with the best possible precision and speed.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>There is no other similar facility anywhere in the UK, with such a wide range of expertise and modern equipment.
