Difficult as it might be to believe, there was a time when I wasn't the fit and healthy specimen I am today.  I smoked too much, drank too much and indulged my sweet-tooth.  Too much.  And I didn't exercise.  Ever. 

It's been very different for the last five years and now I'm going to run a marathon.  The very first Brighton marathon.  I've had some snowboarding injuries this year and wasn't sure if I was going to be ready which is why this request is coming so close to the event. 

I'm ready enough and I'm running for a charity called passing it on.  It's an awesome charity with a big heart and deserves as much support as I can muster.
