Story

<p>**UPDATE**</p> <p>Completed the climb on the 2nd June 2011 in 3 hours 10 minutes. Was a great experience. Thank you all for your Sponsorship...especially to those who have yet to make donations. Pictures to follow on Facebook.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">Hey folks,&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">About a month or so ago, a guy at work was looking at getting a group of people together to climb Snowdon in Wales so I was like "Yeah that sounds like fun" and signed up to go. Then I found out that Snowdon was the highest peak in Wales and me being the size I am would most likely kill me and thought strongly about backing out.&nbsp; Now you may think, well Snowdon isn&rsquo;t that big. I did it and it was like a walk in the park. Well, to that I say...has anyone seen me recently? The most exercise I get is walking to work and rarely do a walk longer than about 45 minutes. So for me to decide to climb a mountain is a pretty big deal.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">So a friend of mine said that it would be an idea for me to do it for charity. Because then I wouldn&rsquo;t be able to back out of it without good reason.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">So I chose Macmillan because they do great work. My Sister in Law's Dad died of Cancer &nbsp;just over a year ago and before he died he spent time with Macmillan. They Helped him day and night and it was all for free. It enabled him to stay alive a little bit longer and helped him to be comfortable when the time came.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">But this is just one story among thousands. They help people every day and I want help them to continue this great work they do.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">My goal is just a number I picked out of thin air, I didn&rsquo;t want it to be too much but at the same time I wanted it be an amount that would be an achievement.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The date of the climb is the 2nd June 2011.&nbsp;</span></p>
