Story
Shaw Trust actively helps disabled people in the UK gain independence and the skills required to find and stay in work. For me, this charity is important and very relevant as I have worked in recruitment for the last 13 years and strongly believe that if people, from whatever walk of life, want to make a difference in their lives, then they should be given the opportunity, and this is where Shaw Trust works best - by helping people take on the world, enabling them to gain a level of independence by means of working and trying to live a normal life regardless of what disability or disadvantages they may have.
If there is a will, there is a way!!
By supporting me run the London Marathon this April, you will be helping to support many disabled and disadvantaged people across the UK.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate today.
Thanking you in advance!
Dan
PS – if you’ve never been to watch the London Marathon it’s an amazing experience. They say that the London Marathon is the best in the world, not only because it’s the biggest but more importantly, it’s the support from the quarter of a million Great British Public lining the streets cheering on the runners and carrying them through to the finish line is second to none. Hopefully you can be there too to cheer on Kingy – I’m going to need it come the dreaded 20 mile mark!
If you need any more reason to support this year’s race, the great Mo Farah will be running in the race too! Sunday April 21, Me and Mo will see you there.
