After the pain of my Gobi Desert ultra-marathon, I am back for more punishment. The Sahara Race is 250km over 7 days. It will be hot, sandy and very uncomfortable. But it will be worth it as I'm raising money for a great cause.
Many of us have kids and many of us know people whose kids need medical help. Sparks is a children's medical research charity whose sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine. Their vision is a world where all babies are born healthy and stay healthy. Now that is a vision we can all subscribe to.
Please be generous in your sponsorship. Not only are you supporting a fantastic cause, but you do so in the knowledge that I will be miserable for a week.
The race starts on October 2 and you can follow my progress at http://www.4deserts.com/sahararace/
Thank you very much indeed for your support
Dan
