For those of you that know me, the only walking I do is around the golf course. And that is actually only from the golf buggy to my next shot!  10k is quite a lot for an overweight southerner to tackle so soon after the Christmas and New Year festivities!

I would really love to raise at least £500 for this very worthwhile charity in my local area.  I know times have been hard and money is tight but the work these charities do can not be made any cheaper whatever the financial climate.  They rely on events and fundraising such as this to support the amazing job that they do.  Every penny counts and your donation would be hugely appreciated.
