In memory of Jypke and such a worthwhile cause i've decided to up the ante and take myself way beyond my comfort zone. I have entered an Ultra race series consisting of a 30,40 and 50 mile races.To add to the difficulty they are all run offroad and are held in some of the most mountainous areas in Wales. During the first 'easy' 30 mile race on the 23rd October I will be doing the equivalent of running to the top of the UK's 2 highest mountains,Ben Nevis and Mount Snowdon.Please give generously to justify my stupidity.

Grass Sickness is a terrible disease which attacks the central nervous system, causing muscle tremors and paralysis of the digestive system, as well as many other symptoms. It is a devastating thing to watch any horse, let alone the one you love most, literally wasting away before your eyes.

Any money raised will go to the Equine Grass Sickness Fund to aid in researching the cause and potential cure as well as continuing to support the work of the University of Edinburgh Equine Hospital. The support given to us by the dedicated grass sickness nurse was invaluable, and it is vital the funds are there to support her work too.
