On the 27th of August 2012 the news was broke to me that my dad has been diagnosed with a rare untreatable lung cancer caused by asbestos.

At first I couldn't come to terms with it, keep saying he's only 66, its a mistake doctors make mistakes.

Then i just got angry, then I got drunk, drunk quite a lot in fact, that didn't help.

Now I'm here - I want to make a difference, I want to contribute, macmillan nurses not only provide care for the patient they provide care for the family.

We all know someone who has been in need of a Macmillan nurse - so have witnessed the great work they provide - Please dig deep in your pockets and help me raise as much money as I can, I want to smash that 2k target out of the park!
