My story
Hi there, thanks for visiting my Justgiving page. Having promised that I was retired from long-distance running, I have been persuaded to pull on my trainers once more to take part in the London Marathon 2012 on behalf of Traidcraft Exchange.
I'm really excited about raising money for such a worthy cause. I've completed two marathons before, in 5hrs 35m and 5hrs 18m respectively, and I can truthfully say that the second one was the most difficult thing I have ever done. Nevertheless this time I am aiming for 5 hours and I've set myself the fundraising target of £100 per mile. Please support me on 22nd April by donating as much as you can.
Traidcraft Exchange is the UK's only development charity specialising in making trade work for the poor. £25 could pay for a beekeeper in East Africa to receive training to improve their income from honey production.
