Story
On October 7th, along with some of my AWS colleagues and other friends, I shall be riding from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Palace, taking a rather convoluted 90 mile route, through Richmond Park and via the Surrey Hills. I am not sure if the Queen is seeing us off at the start or welcoming us once we hopefully make it over the line in Windsor.
The Prince’s Trust supports some of the UK’s most vulnerable young
people by developing their skills and confidence through a range of
programmes. Three in four young people who complete a Prince’s Trust
programme move into work, education, training or volunteering. Over the years I have always been impressed with the difference they have made to so many young people that need it (870,000 young people's lives have been touched over the past four decades) that I felt it was a great cause to go out on a bike ride in support of.
I know we all get many regular different sponsorship requests so don't feel obliged for this one if you are all sponsored out, but if you can find the time to sponsor me for the Prince's Trust it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dan
