My story
In a moment of sheer brilliance the Music Department at Wycombe High School decided to present the staff and friends with a challenge; to learn a new instrument and pass a Grade One exam in six months.
I've always wanted to learn the piano since I gave it up in primary school, so this was a great opportunity to do something for myself and Wycombe High School.
As WHS's Development Director I have a goal to raise the £1.5 million, but as a mother of Emily (Year 9) and Lilley (Year 7) I know the money I raise will be to their benefit and future generations of WHS students.
I need your help to sponsor me to raise money for the ‘Play Your Part’ campaign. Our goal is to raise £1.5 million to build a new Music Centre and upgrade our Performing Arts facilities in other parts of the school, work that is desperately needed. The 'Play Your Part' campaign calls on everybody in our school community to use their many talents and skills in order to raise these funds.
