Jordan Deployment 2016 · 26 July 2016 ·
Hey everyone!
As you are probably aware, the ongoing conflict in Syria has resulted in over 350,000 deaths, with millions being displaced and has triggered one of the worst humanitarian crises of the 21st century. The innocent are the worst affected from any crisis, but the innocent that have lost the ability to see, hear or move properly - are by far the worst off.
My aim is to raise £1000 to help establish a disability clinic for children and orphans living in Al-Zataari refugee camp in Jordan. The rehabilitation centre will provide a suitable place for children with various types of disabilities such as physical, sensory and mental impairments; provide parents with the necessary training in order to care for their disabled children; purpose-build mosque and a sewing factory to give the refugees actual work and develop a level of independence.
