Story
As a lot of you know Daniel was involved in a near fatal car crash in April 2012, which resulted in him receiving serious life threatening injuries. Thanks to the tremendous work of all the Emergency Services Daniel was cut free from his car and airlifted to Frenchay Hospital by The Great Western Air Ambulance. The Treatment received at the Scene and the speed at which he was transferred to Hospital no doubt saved his life. At Frenchay Hospital he remained in a coma for just over 4 days. Following excellent treatment at both Frenchay & Gloucester Hospitals Daniel was well on his way to an expected full recovery and 9 weeks after the accident he was back at work. Today he is fully fit, the only reminders of the accident are a few scars and a Titanium rod in his leg. To repay The Great Western Air Ambulance, who are in need of a new aircraft, Daniel who has never run before is to do the Bath Half Marathon and any monies raised will be donated to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. Thanks in advance Shaun & Sandra Brackston ( Dan's Parents)
