I will also be joining a team of 50 mad people that are heading out on our bikes in September 2013, and riding over 400 miles from Market Square in Cirencester to Paris over 5 days to raise money for Bliss, the special care baby charity.

Every year more than 20000 babies are born either prematurely or requiring special care, and that number is rising year on year. Bliss provide vital support for families with sick and premature babies and fund research into improving care for special care babies.

We've been inspired to create and undertake this challenge as one of our organising committee recently had a baby born both preterm and sick, and the care they received was outstanding, with Bliss playing a vital role. We want to give something back to ensure EVERYONE going through this challenging ordeal gets the same level of care.
