Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've recovered from my broken foot and "swine flu" just in time to run the Harrow Long Ducker - early this morning (Sunday 1st November) they dropped us off at Marble Arch and told us to run the 10 miles back to Harrow-on-the-Hill (yep they save the biggest hill until the end!). That's a really long way.....!
I've never run more than the Winchester House cross country race (about 2.5 miles) before and the weather this morning was absolutely appalling, so I reckon the achievement must be worth a few quid from you for the Harrow Club W10. It's a charity supporting kids in this area whose opportunities in life have been as bad as mine have been good. I know times aren't easy for lots of people at the moment but there are children out there for whom life is always tough. If you can spare a little of money for the Harrow Club, which does a fab job of making some lives a bit better, I would be very grateful indeed. And if you were curled up this morning reading the papers over a cup of coffee, watching the rain lashing at the windows, add a fiver to your donation and you needn't feel any guilt about how cold, wet and tired I am.
lots of love and thank you.
Daniel
