Josephine Butler College does Yorkshire 3 Peaks · 7 June 2016

Grace House North East offers a range of specialist services to support children and young people who have complex disabilities and associated health needs, and their whole family.

Story

On the 7th June, myself and a number of other members of Josephine Butler College from Durham University will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, climbing Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent, in aid of the main charity that we support, Grace House.

Grace House is located in Sunderland and offers short respite breaks to disabled children and young people, while also supporting their family. Grace House provides a fun and safe environment in which children with complex disabilities can take part in exciting activities, such as the use of the facilities sensory room, soft play room and music room.
