CLDF and the British Liver Trust have merged - we are the only UK charity for all liver conditions. We support parents, children, young people and adults affected, through tailored support and information, and we campaign for improved early detection and better treatment and care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wife Jules & I and her family are organising a fundraising day on 5th June 2011 to raise money for the British Liver Trust.

Her mum Margaret had lived with a rare liver disease called PSC for 16 years and last year developed cholangiocarcinoma, bile duct cancer, which when combined makes the cancer very difficult to detect and treat.  She died within 6 weeks of becoming ill in November at just 60 years old and so we are raising money for the British Liver Trust who have agreed to ring fence any money raised to support some research into earlier diagnosis.

I will be cycling 50 miles around the village and countryside in Liss where the family have lived for over 30 years along with many of our friends and family and would deeply appreciate your financial support.
