As you all know by now, there has been the disaster in New Zealand and now the disaster in Japan. ADRA has been on the frontlines, providing support and care, from the beginning, and Churches and homes have been quickly converted to help people who have lost their livelihoods.
ADRA has been helping people in Africa to grow better harvests to feed themselves and their people, and helping to set up sanitation.
I have read their reports from the frontline, and wanted to be part of it! It drives me to angry tears that a child dies from something that 25p would have saved them... or that with a tenner you feed an orphaned child for 2 months!? Or that a little teddy or stuffed toy that you have sat in your room collecting dust could make some child happy and feel loved!? No, something has to be done!!
But I couldn’t wait for someone else to do it, so I needed to find a mission that would change me and my family’s lives and affect others positively and here it is... 25000spins!
25000spins featured on one of the Magazines from church, so I grabbed it, and said: I’m gonna do it...
I’m looking forward to this... guys, help me out... let’s hit my first target of £900!
If i can hit that, I’m going for the £1200 mark. This will provide much needed support and be a decent percentage of the initial £25000 that ADRA has allocated to aid Japan.
Thank you for your support! :)
