Story

Thanks for looking at my fundrasing page. I am raising money for the Forces Childrens Trust by taking part in this years challenge. It consists of a marathon, Cross channel swim, Cycle from Calais to Germany (350miles).
I will be taking part in the Cross channel swim and am part of a relay team of six swimmers.
Because of weather and other variables our window of opportunity to cross will be from the 26th of Sept until the 3rd October.
I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
Dan

The British Forces Trust is a charity which gives to children who have lost a parent whilst serving in The British Armed Forces.

Can you imagine the thoughts of a child when their parent is away, perhaps in a war situation.   A worry always, and then the unimaginable happens.   Mum or Dad dies.

Imagine as a child, not only may it seem the end of the world, but it could be an end to a lot of things.

This is where the British Forces Trust comes in.   We give children a break from the stress with activity breaks, and holidays, which may not be possible any more.   We give Bereavement Counselling, theatre trips, educational trips and provide software to help with the children’s educational needs, should be it be too expensive for the lone parent to purchase.

Giving generously to the British Forces Trust will really help these children who unfortunately are the victim of circumstances through not fault of their own..

In anticipation, many thanks for your help.
