Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the UK's most common life-threatening inherited diseases, and affects over 8,500 people in the UK.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food.

On the 8th May, I will be taking part in a sponsored walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, along with 2 friends, Jenni and Ellis who both have CF.
It will be a challenge, as Ellis had a Heart and Double Lung transplant on the 29th August 2010, and Jenni currently has around 40% Lung function.
But we will all support each other, and somehow, walk 10km, around Ashridge in Hertfordshire to help raise awareness and money for the CF Trust.

Any donations are greatfully received, no matter how much!
And pleeeeease, hope for sunshine for us, because 10km in the rain will not be fun!! Haha.
