Story
Dear Friends and Family,
As you all know, I've been training very hard lately in preparation for the Great South Run 2010! Yes, it's a personal goal but it's also much more than that - those who know me will know that it's a plod in remembrance for all of those in my family who have been afflicted or affected by the terrible disease that is altzheimer's. It's also a run for those individuals and their families who are still having to cope with the disease every day (820,000 people in the UK live with some form of dementia and 1 in 3 over 65s will die with a dementia-related disease).
Any donation, however small will make a BIG BIG difference. I'll also be fundraising by selling cakes and a little bit of car booting soon.
Thank you very much for reading this and for supporting me in this very unique journey for the Altzheimer's Society. Also on behalf of my family who have suffered in one way, shape or form with the disease but are no longer with us to utter the words; thank you.
Lots of love
