Story

Welcome to Team A's fundraising appeal page you gorgeous person you!

Team A at Aon have decided to support Save the Children this Christmas and run our appeal through November to December to raise as much money as we can for the East Africa appeal.

We so far have spent the day out in Bristol dressed in our cow pj's (photos coming soon!) with our collection tins. We are going to be raffling a signed Newcastle Falcons shirt, having cake sales, competitions and all sorts through out the month to do everything we can to help!

If you can give anything at all, no matter how little, we would be extremely grateful and you shall be granted good karma for the following new year!

Thank you for your support, and please read below for info on why exactly we are raising money!

Up to 20 million people are facing severe hunger, leaving them in desperate need of emergency food aid. Across Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia child malnutrition rates rising.

Without emergency food aid many children will become severely malnourished. Without enough food their immune systems are severely weakened and they're more likely to die from preventable diseases.

East Africa's recent erratic weather patterns indicate a changing climate. While drought reoccurs in many parts of East Africa, the prolonged droughts put vulnerable communities at the knife edge of climate change. We're providing life-saving interventions to the most affected communities in the region.
