Well here we go again! 

Its been a few years since I last did any fund raising and the time has come to get rid of another epic beard! This one has been living on my face for the last 15 months! I think  it’s about time to get rid and also give back to this charity that gave me so much!

I have kept the story up from the first beardathon just because you may or may not remember (or even known me back then!) please donate whatever it is you can and let’s hopefully make a change for so many people in this country and make a change!

My name is Danni Mather and I am alive.

I have been growing a mighty beard for almost 6 months and it is almost time for it to be shaved off! The reason for this is I am asking for sponsors with all of the money going to CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably).

CALM are a charity aimed at helping with mental health issues and Suicide Prevention. It focuses mainly upon males but is open to all. This is a charity that has help...ed me personally and are largely responsible for keeping me here! It is no secret that depression is a common thing amongst people and therefore pretty certain all of you will have been affected in some way.

Now for some shocking facts...
Almost 3/4 suicides are male
Suicide is the most common cause of death in males aged 15-34
in 2009 there were 5,675 suicides in the UK

I'm not gonna bum you out with more shitty facts.

This doesn't have to be the way, all people deserve a happy life and we can make a change.

This company work so hard to reach out to everyone, they're absolutely fantastic and really do go out of their way to help people. If you all could be so kind to donate I really can promise it will make a difference to somebody somewhere. If you have ever felt down, alone or depressed know that these people are here to help you anytime of the day and wherever you are!

Please invite anybody and everybody on your friends lists! The more money we can raise the better!

it's now been almost 9 months and I have been overwhelmed with the support for this cause! We have been featured across the internet and even on BBC radio!
