Story
This year I will be running the London Marathon for Make a wish.
Not only is this charity a brilliant organisation which does so much good but it is also a charity very close to my families hearts due to the help and support we received when my sister Paige was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in 2001.
Paige was just 10 when she had to battle this horrendous disease, with operations and months of radiotherapy. Luckily P is made of some very strong stuff and, although she is now registered blind, she is leading a happy life.
During this difficult time, Make a wish supported Paige and our family and were unbelievable in organising for Paige to swim with a family of 8 dolphins, something she had always wanted to do. This experience gave Paige the lift and added fight she needed to come home and beat this illness.
It is very hard to put into words the help&support this charity gave us as a family and I am over the moon I now get the chance to give something back!
Please support me on this journey by donating what you can
Thanks
