<p class="iphone-update">Updated on Nov 14th 2011 at 9:57 PM from the JustGiving API</p> <p>Thankyou for all the donations so far. i ran a half marathon on the 4/3/12 in milton keynes as a training run for the big one.. came home in 1 hour 51 minutes which was a great achievement and thanks to all your donations keeping me going!! x</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>i have set this page up to raise money for the lawrence home nursing team, a charity in my hometown of chipping norton.</p> <p>on the 14th of september 2011 i lost my mum jane phillips through cancer. she was first diagnosed 4 years ago with bladder cancer which came as a massive shock to us all, after plenty of treatment she finally had the bladder removed which took away all the pain she was experiencing and gave us all a sigh of relief.</p> <p>a year past and all seemed to be getting back on track. when all of a sudden another bomb landed and we learnt that the original cancer had made its way to the kidney and also in the lungs slightly.this led to a long road of chemotherapy sessions for mum and also led to her to having to give up work during this time. she battled hard through the chemo and made a brief come back to work for a few weeks but unfortunetly the cancer took charge and entered the liver to start a rapid decline in health in the space of a week and she died peacefully at home.</p> <p>she was an incredible district nurse who was awarded an MBE for her services to nursing. she also helped set up the lawrence home nursing team which has helped so many peoples lives since it has begun. she was a real inspiration to a lot of people and her legacy will never be forgotten.</p> <p>on the 29th of april next year i will be running the milton keynes marathon. a full distance marathon in the memory of my mum. i intend to raise as much money as i possibly can for a great great cause. so please any donations will be hugely appreciated.</p> <p>thankyou</p> <p>Danny Phillips</p>
