Story
On the 23rd of April as part of our Motor Neurone Disease Association 2.6 fundraiser, I completed a 2.6-mile walk in memory of my late colleague Frances Emery. It was the start of a personal journey to improve my fitness and lifestyle and I set myself a personal objective to see how far I could walk during lockdown.
I came up with the idea of linking my walks and setting myself a 260 mile (418km) challenge in 10 weeks.
I am 7 weeks in and have completed 233 miles (375km) and am on
track to hit my goal in the next week. I welcome your support and ask that you make a donation to this excellent charity. If you can spare the cost of a coffee, beer, sandwich or more that would be fantastic!
