On May 12th 2010 my partner Michelle went into premature labour at 33 weeks and three days giving  birth to our beautiful baby daughter Freya, weighing only 4lbs 8 oz's, giving us quite a surprise!

As she arrived so early it meant she had to spend time in the special care unit at the Conquest hospital Hastings, Bliss were there with us every step of the way supporting us at this difficult time. 

On the 17th of April 2011 i will be running the London Virgin marathon and would like to take this opportunity to raise as much money as possible for Bliss to help them to carry on with there great work.

Bliss, the special care baby charity, provides vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK. Founded 30 years ago, Bliss offers guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives. Bliss also funds ground-breaking research and campaigns for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.
