<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I have decided to take on the largest challenge of my life...well the hardest one after my gorgeous baby girl, Bertie!</p> <p>I have decided to swim the English Channel. Although this is 34.5 km across as the crow flies, unfortunately the crow doesnt swim as straight and it is very likely the swim will be over 60km in total. Having not swum lengths&nbsp;for a long, long time&nbsp;before my Lake Geneva swim last year, this is requiring 9 months of dedication as well as meticulous planning. The swimming is only one of the hurdles - to swim the channel&nbsp;i will have to learn to swim in cold water (no wetsuits allowed - only speedo, cap, googles), with jellyfish and whatever else lies beneath, and swim in the dark. Neither of these make me smile!</p> <p>I am swimming this for charity and would be really grateful if you could take the time to sponsor me.
