This year I have decided to take part in a few fitness events...well 5 actually. I completed a Half Marathon and Tough Mudder (12 mile obstacle course) in the same week last year and I thought I would step it up this year and do a few more events and I also wanted to raise some money in the process.

I'm raising money for the housing and homelessness charity Shelter (http://england.shelter.org.uk/home). Too often I see people sleeping rough on the UK streets and I wish I could help every single one of them. Shelter offers these people the support they need that just one person cannot give. Shelter provides so much more than this though, please take a couple of minutes to visit their site and check out some of the other amazing services they provide.

Even if I raise just a few pounds by doing these events, I know that Shelter will use this to help those in need.
