Pact is a national charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions, and their families. We support people to make a fresh start, and minimise the harm that can be caused by imprisonment on people who have committed offences, on families and on communities.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Danny and Paul are rolling back the years in an effort to rediscover the fitness levels that they once possessed serving in the Royal Air Force.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>We are running the London Marathon for the Prison Advice &amp; Care Trust (<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">pact</strong>) on 22nd April 2012.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">Our stretch goal is to beat Paula Radcliffe...our realistic goal is to finish within four hours (and hopefully a bit quicker).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">We are aiming to raise a minimum of &pound;3,000 for <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">pact</strong>.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>With the prison population now at its highest level recorded, it is estimated that 200,000 children in the United Kingdom are affected by parental imprisonment each year.
