Following on from climbing Kilimanjaro in March 2018 both Mike and I decided that its important to carry on with the fundraising journey that we started 18 months ago for CRUK. You can't put a price on life so why should we set a target especially when so many people's lives are at stake.

Seeing the impact that Cancer has had on Family, Friends and those I have met on my journey so far has really opened my eyes to the importance of the work that CRUK does. Now more than ever its so vital that they continue to be funded so they can carry out life saving research.

On Sunday 29th July I am taking on the Prudential Ride 100 - the event starts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved.

My aim to to try and raise £1,000 - thats £10 for every mile I'll cycle - of course I want to raise as much as possible but its a good starting point.
