My father was diagnosed with cancer early this year. Having never smoked touched a cigarette he managed to get lung cancer which has now spread to his spine into the bone that supports and pivots his head. He now wheres a neck brace 24/7.

Also at the same time my friends and previous work colleague Moira McKay was also diagnosed with bowel cancer. It has stopped her from eatting and keeping her food down while wasting her away at the same time.

Both have been very strong people dealing with problems in different ways fighting against the odds. 

Therefore i want to raise money for the people that took care of them, looking after them so well in their time of need and strengthening them because of it. I hope that it will help to get better equipment and facilities in order to help future patients and to enable them to continue doing a superb job.
