Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A little over 3 years ago my Dad , Geoff passed away after suffering a heart attack, he was 58. As a result I have ran each 3 Great North Runs in his memory. This year with changing 'my' life around, switching my diet and training I ran the GNR 29mins quicker than last year..

Back in February 2011 I weighed 15st 4lb, the heaviest ever. With the help from Jason Vale (the juice master), guts and determination I have turned my life around and now weigh 12st 4lb. To celebrate this massive achievement I intend to complete the GNR in 1hr 47 mins and whole 35 minutes quicker and 3 stone (42lb) lighter than last year.

And that’s not all... Read On...

In addition to The Great North Run personell best I ran in 2 further 1/2 marathons, Macclesfield & Congleton, Cheshire (England) all 3 within 4 weeks. Not only that I gained a second fast time and ran 3 mins quicker than this years Graet North Run.

My next challenge

The New York Marathon on November 6th 2011.

My goal is to raise £1500 for The British Heart Foundation by the time I complete the New York Marathon in 3 Hours 56 mins.
