In 2007 a good friend of mine lost his long battle against Cancer of the Oesophagus. Graham was a keen cyclist so to celebrate his life and support the charity that is working towards raising awareness as well as researching treatments of this most incidious disease, myself and two others (including Graham's widow) are planning to undertake a charity ride in May 2010. The ride we are planning is the 1000 mile, Land's End to John O'Groats classic British end-to-end ride. Our plan is to do the trip over 15 days, averaging something like 70 miles/day. Hopefully we can accomplish this task which will not only fulfil a long term ambition but will also raise funds for this worthwhile cause.


The money we are raising will go directly to help fund a new piece of equipment to help treat Barrett's. So if you think what I am doing is a worthwhile undertaking, or you would just like to support my endeavours then please donate as you see fit, myself and those suffering from this disease will be very appreciative of anything you can give.
