My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I’ve decided to run to raise funds for a literacy charity. The Ministry of Stories (http://www.ministryofstories.org/) is based in East London and is a really cool organisation that devotes a lot of its time to encouraging kids in the area to express themselves via creative writing. It might not be as heart-rending as some other charities, but I believe a cause like this is important in an age where libraries and literacy is seen as something of a luxury rather than a vital resource.

Here's the bit I didn't write...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

My updates 1

Well, I made it to the end of the half marathon, battling sweltering midlands heat to match my PB of 2:20:38. And I've raised almost £200 for Ministry of Stories. Thanks to everyone who donated so far- there's still time if more want to jump on the bandwagon.
