Story

So at the age of 44, I am going to attempt to climb the worlds 4th most prominent mountain and the worlds largest free standing mountain, Kilimanjaro.

Its going to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but it will be worth it. Why ?

Well I am doing it in aid of Build for Africa http://www.build-africa.org/ and the funds raised by not only me but the other 14 people i am going with will build a school for the poverty stricken children in Kenya, the difference this climb and your kind donations will make to these poor children will actually 'change their lives forever' You have the power to make a difference now by donating to this fantastic cause.

The biggest killer on the mountain is altitude sickness, I cannot train for this, so will not know until I try to reach the summit if I will actually make it (alive) so please, I am prepared to risk my life for this cause, all i ask is a donation from everyone i know to help me reach the goal and build this school.

I know times are tough, we are all in the same position, but a rough estimate, would be if all my friends on Facebook saved simply £1 per week and donated it every week, then I would by August have raised the money needed to build the school.

What can you buy for £1 a week ? Not much, but you can change a life!

So please dig deep and donate now.
