I have decided it's time step up to the mark and push myself to the limit!! I am going to take part in the London to Paris Bike Ride in May of 2010. Whilst putting myself through what I think is going to be HELL over the coming months and during the event, I will be hoping to raise money for the County Air Ambulance Trust!!

Most people who know me will understand why this means a lot to me but for those of you who don't I will explain. Many moons ago when the Air ambulance first began, My Dad was one of the first paramedics to take to the sky. He absolutely loved his job and was always out fund raising and being a guest at lots of charity events!! Unfortunately after doing the job for about 2 years he suddenly died of cancer at the age of 43. All of the County Air Ambulance crew were fantastic with me and my family. They even did a flyby at his funeral!! My family and I have held several fund raising events for the Air Ambulance but now I think it's time to push myself that little bit further and raise some money for this wonderful Life Saving charity!!

Just to let you know I have to collect 80% of the £1300 minimum collection amount by the 10/02/2010. I know the ride is along time away but I have to start training now!!! The more money I can see coming in will help me through those cold winter rides!!
