I had entered the Anglesey Sandman just hours before finding out the sad news of my uncles death from Myeloma. It seems such a fitting tribute to him to use the event to raise some money for Myeloma UK. Hopefully I can do some good by raising money for such a great cause and also maybe make myself a little healthier at the same time.

I've never taken on a challenge quite this big before.  I've done many 5k and 10k races over the years but nothing close to a triathlon.

There are many hours of sweat and tears ahead of me over the next 7 months.  What better way to spur me on than to click donate now and donate some money to this cause.  Watching the total raised creep towards my target is the best encouragement I could ask for.
