I’m not one for sponsored things or getting the begging bowl out – unless it’s something very worthwhile for a very worthwhile cause – and I’m well aware there are 00’s of these requests around – so I’ll keep it short and sweet…

The SOS Africa Children's Charity is a small, non-profit, UK registered, predominantly volunteer-run Somerset charity, which funds the education and care of underprivileged African township children. They do some amazing work with very limited funds.

Being a fan of Glastonbury (a lovely little English Festival for those of you that don’t know it), and it’s iconic pyramid stage (that has played host to Dolly Parton, U2, The Rolling Stones and even Rolf Harris…), I’ve got the opportunity to abseil off the very top, in the hope that those who believe I’m daft enough to do it, may donate a few pennies to this worthwhile cause…
