We bring more than medicine to seriously ill children in hospital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This is all for the sick kids hospital in Edinburgh. So we hope you can find it in your hearts to dig deep for a better future for them all.

We're going to be doing this in conjunction with Extra Life 2011, so at 7pm on October 15th we'll be spending 24 hours playing great (and also, rubbish) games and suffering major sleep depravation all for your entertainment.

Myself (Prime) and RayG will be doing a 24 hour videogame marathon for "The Sick Kids Save Point" charity, which we also took part in last year with little success. This year we hope to do at least better. Not for us, but for the kids.

Believe me, we wouldn't be spending 24 hours of our time doing this if we didn't care. All we're asking for is a humble £200 goal, if 20 people donated £10 that would be it... Heck, if 40 people donated £5, that would be it. We'll have reached our target and we can rest happily afterwards knowing 24 hours of excrutiating pain wasn't in vain.

On behalf of Sick Kids Save Point, Retroids Podcast Network and DownToForit X, thankyou all for any support you can give!

~Prime and RayG, D2FX

About the charity

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.
