Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £19.4 million each year to continue our services

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 1999 when Judes father was diagnosed with terminal cancer he received fantastic care from people at St Christophers Hospice which made his final days as comfortable as possible. At that time I decided that if I managed to fulfill my ambition of running the London Marathon that they would be a worthy beneficiary. Back then running 26.2 miles seemed like a stroll in the park, 13 years on and with a few more miles on the clock, the reality of the run is proving tougher than I ever imagined !

If you would like to help me raising money for this worthy cause, I am confident that any money you can give will be put to very good use by the experts at St Christophers and every amount really does help.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story...
